Aril River India 5 samples Manufacturing of agricultural products 9-1 6 (<63 pm) Sharma, Tobschall and Singh (2003)... [Pg.133]

Arrangement of the mat samples (manufactured by a different producer), on the supporting frame inserted in the muffle kiln for the lengthening tests under temperature stress (a) initial situation in the foreground a 4.9 N overloaded fabric, in the background a 2.45 N overload, way in the back an unloaded fabric (own weight), (b) situation after 100 hours at 750°C. [Pg.512]

Arrangement of the mat samples (manufactured by a different producer) situation after cooling to room temperatrue, after 100 hours at 750°C. [Pg.513]

Fig. 1 shows the optical transmittance curves in the range of 2.5-5.5 pm of the samples manufactured by different process. The cutoff wavelength of the samples is located at about 5.0 pm. It is also noted that one absorption peak appears at 2.8 pm. The electron transformation from rear earth ion might be a possible explanation for the absorptions, but the mechanism has not been very clear yet. [Pg.305]

The prismatic beam-shaped specimens are obtained from samples manufactured in the laboratory using a roller compactor according to CEN EN 12697-33 (2007) or from samples cored from road layers with thickness >50 mm. In any case, the specimens are cut in the desired dimensions, 50 mm x 50 mm x 300 mm, and are tested after ageing (stored at 20 C for 14 to 42 days). [Pg.386]

FIG. 1. Large-size furnace for solid sampling, manufactured by Grim Analytische Mess-Systeme G.m.b.H., Ehringshausen, Germany, model SM 20. The test substance is introduced either manually with a pincn- and the L vov platform, or by an automated sample introduction system. Dimensions of the furnace OD S3 mm and ID 10.5 mm. [Pg.197]

Film samples were obtained by the technique of pouring from solution, which is in some cases used to accomplish similar tasks imder laboratory conditions. The basic components were PQ, PPMA and organic solvent. This resulted in homogeneous, uniformly colored films of size greater than 10 x 10 cm and thickness from 80 to 350 pm, whose elasticity allowed samples of various shape to be cut out of them. Here, volume PQ concentration in film samples was several times that in bulk ones. Performed tests have shown that samples, manufactured by given process, retain light-sensitive properties after storing at room temperature for a year. [Pg.64]

The cross-section microscope picture shows a microvoid in a random E-glass fiber/unsaturated polyester FRP sample manufactured with VARTM. Also note that there are two different scales of flow pathways for the resin infusion (i.e., the large flow channel between fiber tows and the small flow channel between individual fibers in a fiber tow). [Pg.327]

With the increasing demand to analyze more and more samples, manufacturers of autosamplers and sample introduction accessories are designing automated sampling systems to maximize sample throughput. This is being achieved in a variety of different ways by optimizing the sample delivery process to reduce the pre- and postmeasurement time. Some typical optimization procedures include the following ... [Pg.184]

YK-1 and YK-2 are the lot number of compost samples manufactured by Yahata Bussan Co., Ltd. Compost was dried in a drying oven at 105 °C for 10 hrs. Total dry solid was burnt to ashes at 550 C in an electric furnace. pH was determined on 1 5 compost.water suspension with a pH meter manufactured by TOA. Carbon content was measured by the Tyulin-method. Total nitrogen was measured by the Devarda s alloy-sulphuric acid method. [Pg.50]

Samples manufactured from fibre mats [2, 14] and metallic spheres [2, 15] joined to backing plates. [Pg.46]

Sample manufacture is necessary to evaluate the properties of these new materials. In particular ... [Pg.161]

During sample manufacturing processes, particular attention is required in the following steps ... [Pg.162]

For each material a specific curing cycle has been adopted, as specified by the material s datasheet and by the curing test previously performed. It is important to note that the curing process of the matrices can vary in significant ways when the particles are embedded in it. Figure 6.45 shows the various methodologies and phases of the sample manufacturing. [Pg.178]

Two sets of samples were used in this study. The first set is consists of two commercial PVDF samples manufactured by Arkema Inc. under the trademark Kynar (here labeled VI and V2) and vary in their molecular weight and viscosity. The second set contains two PVDF samples containing chain branching and with different molecular weights and viscosities (VF-CBl and VF-CB2). Some properties of these samples are shown in Table 1. [Pg.1103]
