REPORT procedure

In addition to the CIR process the cosmetic industry has instituted a second, important, self-regulatory procedure the voluntary reporting of adverse reactions, which is intended to provide data on the type and incidence of adverse reactions noted by consumers or by their medical advisors. This reporting procedure creates early awareness of problems handled outside hospital emergency facilities or centers for acute poisoning. [Pg.287]

The accident reporting procedure should be more than reporting of equipment damage for insurance purposes. The report should show appropriate action taken to prevent a recurrence. [Pg.199]

To provide staff with the necessary organizational freedom you will need one or more problem-reporting procedures and some policies that give staff the freedom to identify, record, and report problems relating to the product, process, and quality system. [Pg.124]

Benzyltriethylammonium chloride is available from Eastman Organic Chemicals. The checkers prepared the salt in a state of high purity by a modification of a reported procedure.3 A solution of 33.7 g. (0.33 mole) of triethylamine and 50.0 g. (0.40 mole) of benzyl chloride (both from Eastman Organic Chemicals) in 60 ml. of absolute ethanol was refluxed for 64 hours. The solution was cooled to room temperature and 300 ml. of ether was added. The precipitated ammonium salt was removed by filtration, redissolved in the minimum amount of hot acetone, and reprecipitated with ether. [Pg.97]

This reporting procedure is implemented in program LINREG and its derivatives. [Pg.117]

In case of (3-glucosidation using a large amount of alcohol, the ratio of alcohol, H2O and D-glucose was studied for improvement of conversion yield by Vic and Grout. By applying the reported procedure, a mixture of D-glucose... [Pg.263]

By following the reported procedure, coupling reaction of 70 and 2,3,4-tri-O-acetyl-a-L-arabinopyranosyl bromide in the presence of AgOTf and tetramethy-lurea (TMU) gave the coupled product (72) in 73% yield. Finally, treatment of 72 with K2CO3 in MeOH provided the synthetic phenethyl 6-O-a-L-arabinopyranosyl-p-D-glucopyranoside (66) in 86% yield. [Pg.271]

Crystals of K2[Tc2C16] suitable for X-ray diffraction analysis were obtained by the reduction of K[Tc04] in hydrochloric acid by molecular hydrogen at about 3 MPa in an autoclave at 140 °C by our reported procedures [50,58,69],... [Pg.205]

Disordered cancrinite and the intermediate phase were synthesized by the previously reported procedure [6], The parameters and the results of the syntheses are summarized in Table 1. [Pg.145]

Purely siliceous SBA-15 was synthesized according to previously published method [2]. Al incorporation in SBA-15 lattice was performed either by direct synthesis for which we have applied an already known method, but improved in some details [3], or by post-synthesis according to the reported procedure [4, 5], Modified SBA-15 are denoted as Al-SBA-15. [Pg.201]

The yields are significantly better than for a previously reported procedure (90-98% instead of 50-70%) and the reaction times are considerably reduced. These improvements are connected to the intervention of highly polar reactants and then consequently prove to develop strong interactions with microwaves . [Pg.278]

One exception to the preservation of selectivity in microwave reactions was the C2 arylation of 2,3-dihydrofuran, which yielded an isomeric byproduct under the action of microwaves (2-phenyl-2,3-dihydrofuran/byproduct = 71/29), in contrast with the reported procedure using conventional heating (Eq. 11.4). The desired product could be isolated in 58% yield. Attempts to reduce the reaction time by using oil baths (125 °C or 150 °C) did not result in similar yields, but instead furnished complicated reaction mixtures, in definite contrast with the microwave procedure [17]. [Pg.382]

Zinc hydroxystannate and zinc stannate were synthesised at I.T.R.I. according to previously reported procedures (11,12)... [Pg.190]
