Among these, it is still uncertain which source of MSCs is the best suited for the purposes of regenerative medicine and tissue engineering. The field of biomaterials has grown incalculably in the past 30 years. There have been great advances in the fabrication of polymeric constmct for TE, drug delivery, and regenerative medicine. As outlined here, each process meets specific requirements, although a certain degree of overlap exists, and each allows the end user to choose the most appropriate strategy.
