Purchasing coordination

Some consideration of surge characteristics should be made, and unless your own plant design includes antisurge controls, it should definitely be mentioned in the specification. Possibly, the vendor can quote antisurge equipment with his offering. At a later date, the specification will serve as a good reminder to both the vendor and purchaser if some mention of compressor control is made. The details may be worked out at any convenient point, such as at the bid review or possibly later in a coordination meeting. 

The schedule sheet which summarizes the key reference data for a particular class of equipment such as pumps, but contains no process data. The latter type is prepared for job coordination with and in the various departments, i.e., engineering, construction, purchasing, production. BATF maintains a National Explosives Tracing Center, whose function is to coordinate this activity. A typical trace would start with the recovery of an undetonated bomb. This code would be telephoned to the tracing center which would forward the information to the manufacturer, who would provide a list of consumers or distributors. If expls from that lot were sold to a distributor or distributors, they would be contacted for a list of retail purchasers... 

Procurement - works with vendors to facilitate and coordinate purchases of equipment. 

Administration of data. If PCs are selected and purchased on an individual basis without coordination, isolated and incompatible solutions will emerge. Information that is concentrated at the single computer system in the case of a centralized system, is distributed over many separated stations, perhaps on diskettes handled by various coworkers. The collection and administration of information that may be important to the operation of an organization is difficult to manage or impossible under such circumstances.

Chemical control is the most widely practised method for vector and pest control in the Region. However, appropriate pesticide use is hampered, inter alia, by the lack of capacity, coordinated mechanisms and funding for the registration, purchase, application and quality control of products absence of effective systems for monitoring use and lack of implementation of existing rules and regulations.
