A prioritized goal of process optimization and scale-up thus consists of an appropriate process design that improves the physiological conditions and the metabolic accuracy by minimizing microbial stress exposure. 

Develop an action plan, setting achievable and prioritized goals for the key activities needing attention. Safety professionals must understand their roles as advisors. Since action on the leading indicators selected will be taken by others, reaching consensus on them is vital. 

The creation of conditions in which safety and health protection are understood as a joint task of employers and employees on any level of organization management is a prerequisite for implementing safety culture. Proposition 1 In project as well as process management, multiple goals can exist at the same time. Most importantly, it is necessary to attribute a level of priority to each of these goals in order to define management priorities. Prioritizing goals is of critical importance to the effective analysis of risks. 

In collecting the data care should be taken to avoid data paralysis (see Part 2 Chapter 14). The various quality tools can be used to prioritize the identified problems and corresponding decisions. The goal of the prioritization scheme is to design the scores so that the overall worst looking compounds are de-emphasized and the best looking compounds are moved toward the top of the list. Thus, it is important to ensure that the best and the worst compounds are clearly separated and that the vast bulk of the population is in the middle. The normal distribution is ideally suited for this and thus it is advantageous to transform our component scores into a normal-like distribution.
