PLCC

We give below for a general reference brief details ofa PLCC network as u.sed for power generating and tiaiismitiing communication services. A PLCC uses coupling equipment, filter and blocking circuits, which have al.so been discussed separately in this chapter. [Pg.737]

The ccnijding of a PLCC with the main lines is carried out through line traps, and coupling capacitors or a C T, A C T is used when it is also required for measurement and protection. For details on a CVT refer to Section 15.-1.4. [Pg.739]

The relatively small measurement effect limits the achievable resolution to about 0.5 °/s and requires the operation of the sensor in a vacuum. The sensor system is packaged in a PLCC(Plastic Leaded Chip Carrier)-housing (Fig. 7.2.16). [Pg.310]

The number of dots that can be dispensed per unit of time also depends on viscosity. The use of low-viscosity adhesives increases the number of dots that can be dispensed. However, there is a tradeoff between the speed at which the adhesive can be dispensed and the speed of device placement. Most automated component-placement equipment operate faster than adhesive-dispensing equipment. A comparison of the effect of viscosity on dispensing and placement times is shown in Table 4.19 for an 86-lead plastic-encapsulated leadless chip carrier (PLCC). ... [Pg.184]

MidUne catheters and peripherally inserted central catheters (PlCC) are inserted in a peripheral vein but the tip rests in a larger vein. The infusion fluid flows directly in the larger vein which diminishes the chance of phlebitis. Both types of catheters are typically inserted in a vein in the upper arm. The midline catheter ends at armpit height the tip of the PICC rests in the vena cava superior. The PlCC may have single or multiple lumens. The PlCC line can be used as a central venous catheter for infusion which needs fast dilution or distribution or both such as antibiotics, pain medicine, chemotherapy, nutrition, etc. [Pg.294]

Long-term central venous access devices used for chemotherapy can be categorized into peripherally inserted central catheters (PlCCs), chest wall external catheters (tunneled and non-tunneled), and subcutaneous ports (chest wall and extremity). [Pg.134]
