The drug uptake (SLC) family of transporter is the largest superfamily of transporters. This family includes 31 transporters from organic anion transporter polypeptides (OATPs), organic anion transporters (OATs), organic cation transporters (OCTs), peptide cotransporters (PEPTs), and sodium-bile acid cotransporter classes.
