Neurospora spp

Constit. of Neurospora spp. and other microorganisms. Pale-yellow oil with brilliant green fluorescence. [Pg.792]

The septa may or may not have the same structure as the hyphal wall. In Aspergillus spp. they seem to be very much the same, while in Absidia corymbifera, for example, they are not. In Neurospora crassa, they show an electron-transparent central lamina, sandwiched between layers of chitin, overlain in turn by protein. Absidia and other Mucors are probably very similar, as judged by the reactivity of their walls and septa with lectins. [Pg.284]

Constit. of the lipopolysaccharide from the cells of Pseudomonas aeruginosa. Also present in Achromobacter georgio politanum Salmonella, spp. Proteus vulgaris, Neurospora crassa. Vibrio cholerae, and Brucella spp. The Upopolysaccharide is used as antiviral agent for influenza A/PR8, encephalo-myocarditis virus and Columbia SK virus. Cryst. (EtOH/Et20). [Pg.81]
