Mark, marking trade

MANUFACTURER OR DISTRIBUTOR (fabricant ou distributee) (A.01.010) A person, including an association or partnership, who under their own name, or under a trade, design or word mark, trade name, or other name, word or mark controlled by them, sells a food or a drug. 

In laboratory studies of human behaviour error is commonly used as an index of performance. A common finding in these studies is the marked trade-off between the speed of response and number of errors made. An example of this trade-off is shown in Figure 23.3. It is interesting to note that many of these approaches have been incorporated into concepts of human error as they apply to considerations of safety. 

Current manufacturers of these products are the Polymer Additives Group of Witco Corp. (New York), with the trade name Mark, and Synthetic Products Co. (Cleveland), with the trade name Synpron. Microcrystalline ceUuloses ate marketed under the trade name Avicel. The physical characteristics of microcrystalline ceUuloses differ markedly from those of the original ceUulose. Words ending in -it in German, as, for instance, the names of a great many minerals, should as a rule be translated with the ending -ite as, Kainit, kainite (not kainit).
