Risk management maintenance

Layout considerations include avoiding crane lifts over operating equipment, especially equipment that contains hazardous materials, and, in particular, hazardous materials held under pressure or high temperature. Allow space for maintenance access without damage to other equipment. Apply risk management concepts to the layout and siting. 

Many maintenance risks are related to unclear and unsafe procedures. See Chapter 6. Additional information regarding management of change can be found in Chapter 7 of the CCPS Guidelines for Technical Management of Chemical Process Safety (CCPS, 1989b). 

Pharmacists have an opportunity to extend their activities in patient care as the emphasis continues to shift from inpatient care to ambulatory care. The latter situation generally encourages a team approach to health improvement, prevention, health maintenance, risk assessment, early detection, management, curative therapy, and rehabilitation [12]. Ambulatory care offers a variety of opportunities for individualizing patient care through pharmaceutical compounding. In fact, it is the area where most compounding pharmacists practice. 

Considering all the above points, the risk management program can be started from a proper design of a machine, process, reactions, installation, operation and maintenance, and so forth. 

Selection of response actions that result in the recovery, or maintenance, of healthy local populations/communities of ecological receptors that are (or should be) present at the site furthermore, in support of proper risk management, risk assessors are advised to select assessment endpoints and measures (as defined in ERAGS) that are ecologically relevant to the site and include species that are exposed and sensitive to response to site contaminants, such as explosives. In addition, if individual threatened or endangered (T E) species or critical habitats for such species are present at a site, the Endangered Species Act may be declared an applicable or relevant and appropriate requirement (ARAR) within the ERA of the site. 

Safety of prototype batteries it tries to integrate risk management throughout the lifecycle of new materials (maintenance, safety, toxicity and recycling) at the early stages of integration.
