Maintenance organisation role

The topics for the above-mentioned focus groups were centred on the role of local institutions in the FRLHT-CCD initiative, on the interrelations between village organisations and the other network partners. In these interviews, I also discussed the future challenges at the community level and put a particular focus on the maintenance of knowledge on traditional medicine. 

These responsibdities are further elaborated on in QIO by stating that Senior management has the ultimate responsibility to achieve the quality objectives. Management should participate in the design, implementation, monitoring and maintenance of an effective pharmaceutical quality system, define individual and collective roles, responsibilities, authorities and inter-relationships of all organisational units related to the pharmaceutical quality system. 

Once roles, responsibilities and accountabilities have been established, it is then necessary to set some key safety objectives both for the organisation as a whole, and where appropriate for individual members of staff. For example, a company may wish to adopt a measured reduction of unwanted fire alarm actuations and may do so by linking the reduction of false alarms to a maintenance engineer s bonus pay scheme. 

An industrial organisation must have sufficient knowledge to be able to establish and maintain adequate barriers. This knowledge is partly acquired from the accumulated external experiences that have been documented in regulations, standards, user instructions of machinery, handbooks, etc. The internal experience transfer also plays a significant role. It is, for example, necessary to find an adequate balance between active and passive barriers. The barriers must be feasible and must not obstruct production. Yet the maintenance of adequate barriers must not rely solely on the operations organisation in a way that makes this control task insurmountable. It lies on the organisation itself to find the adequate balance between the different types of passive and active barriers, and a certain amount of trial and error is necessary in this process. 

On the same date the Agency became the competent authority to approve and oversee the organisations involved in the design of aeronautical products, parts and appliances. It also carries out the same role for foreign organisations involved in the manufacture or maintenance of such products.
