Logistic

Logistics refers to the organisation of transport of people, and supply and storage of materials. The transport of people is linked to the mode of manning the operation, and is clearly much simplified for an unmanned operation. [Pg.285]

It is worth noting that typically personnel and logistics represent 30% to 50% of operating costs while maintenance costs represent 20% to 40% of operating costs. These are particular areas in which cost control and reduction should be focused.
