Loads monitoring has another economic aspect. The seabed protection in the form of mattress, made of single elements, pinned and tight together with ropes, should be repaired immediately after the damage of a few elements because the next excess of loads can result in extensive damage. The cost of not detected repair can include replacement of several dozen elements and delays in berth operation.
