Light in color

The nurse notifies the primary health care provider if die patient fails to drink extra fluids, if the urine output is low, or if the urine appears concentrated during daytime hours. The urine of those drinking 2000 mL or more per day will appear dilute and light in color. 

The caramelized liquid is sent by railroad tank cars to the cola syrup formulators, who then test the solution for quality. If it is too light in color—penalty if it has too many carbon particles per unit volume, then the whole tank car is rejected. There is thus a delicate balance between underreacting and overreacting. 

A good commercial grade of aniline, light in color and boiling with not more than i° range, is suitable. It is not necessary to employ a freshly distilled product. 

When Spleen-Qi is not able to control circulation of blood in the blood vessels, a large bleed that is light in color may occur. 

Sulfur reacts with mercaptans in the presences of basic catalysts at temperatures of 75—105°C, forming sulfides. These sulfides are usually light in color and are formed without cross-linking. The sulfurization of mercaptans leads to di-, tri-, or higher polysulfides, depending on the mole ratio used (eqs. 5 and 6). Pectin substances in solution behave as typical colloids. See also Colloid Systems. Diy, purified pectins are light in color and soluble in hot water to the extent of 2-3%. The pH of pectin solutions is usually 2-3.5.

Fig. 37 points out the outlines of the cellar, indicating its width as well as the approximate width of the three objects. In a standing mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, beat the egg yolks on medium speed until they are light in color, 2 to 3 minutes. Reduce the speed to low and add the sugars, beating for I minute until combined. Still on low speed, add the chocolate mixture and the sour cream and stir until combined. Then mix in the vanilla. 

The measurement of light in colored samples this can be overcome by color quench correction programs applied by the appropriate scintillation counter. 

In this study, up to about 50% of the phenol-formaldehyde was replaced with carbohydrates and the modified resins used to bond wood veneer panels. The carbohydrate modified resins were formulated and cured under neutral conditions. The resins bond wood with acceptable dry- and wet-shear strengths, and wood failures. Reducing as well as nonreducing carbohydrates can be used as modifiers. The carbohydrate modifiers are being incorporated into the resin via ether linkages between the hydroxyls of the carbohydrate and methylol groups in the phenol-formaldehyde resin. The resins formulated under neutral conditions are very light in color. 

Is an effective auxiliary emulsifier. It is almost odor-free and is very light in color. 

Bleaching removes most pigments, and the bleached oil is light in color. In order to produce a bland oil suitable for salad dressing, the bleached sesame oil is further deodorized. Deodorization is conducted in vacuum with steam at 200 250°C as most other vegetable oils. 

Oils used in cosmetics are usually light in color or are colorless therefore, it is necessary to conduct a bleaching step with adsorbents to remove colored materials as well as other impurities such as peroxides, metals, soaps, and protein residues. Once the oil has been properly refined and adsorbent-treated, it can be deodorized by sparging pure steam under high-vacuum. Physical refining or nonchemical removal of free fatty acids and odors by high vacuum distillation can also be accomplished however, care should be exercised to ensure that contaminants such as metals, soap, and proteins are effectively removed prior to the distillation step.
