The equipment for the pollutant removal system includes all hoods, ducting, controls, fans, and disposal or recovery systems that might be necessary. The entire system should be engineered as a unit for maximum efficiency and economy. Many systems operate at less than maximum efficiency because a portion of the system was designed or adapted without consideration of the other portions (4). 

High levels of sulfur not only form dangerous oxides, but they also tend to poison the catalyst in the catalytic converter. As it flows over the catalyst in the exliaust system, the sulfur decreases conversion efficiency and limits the catalyst s oxygen storage capacity. With the converter working at less than maximum efficiency, the exhaust entering the atmosphere contains increased concentrations, not only of the sulfur oxides but also, of hydrocarbons, nitrogen oxides, carbon monoxides, toxic metals, and particulate matter.

The influence of physical activity on nutritional requirements and health is not the same for all activities. Johanson predicted theoretical compactor operating conditions to handle air entrapment effects in materials. It should perhaps be re-emphasized that even Planck-power input as hydrogen entails some entropy increase and therefore is thermodynamically irreversible, consistently with the Second Law of Thermodynamics while still thwarting the heat death. The heat death is thus thwarted via dilution of entropy as an island Universe [1] expands indefinitely, which is consistent with the Second Law [59-63] — not via destruction of entropy, which is not Planck-power input as hydrogen represents input at positive but far less than maximum entropy.
