From the LC-GC home page, search for articles on LC/MS. Find an article, written in 2001, that compares mass analyzers for LC/MS applications. There are many smaller players in this market, some with URLs fisted in figure captions, but the incomplete listing will give the student a start. There are literally thousands of separation media and application notes and sample chromatograms available online. If one has a specific problem or application, a better alternative may be to find the Contact Us e-mail address or phone number for their applications lab staff and pose a specific query. Free trade journals such as American Laboratory and LC/GC magazine have annual comprehensive vendor resource issues, indexed by methodology and application. Their content is easily available from their websites.
