All other phases are set as x, excepted otherwise stated. A two-phase cycle x, —x is used for the pulse phases (j>, and <p2 and the receiver phase. In order to separate the 2JCH and the nJCn spectra, two FIDs have to be acquired for each tn increment with the phase </)n set as x, — x and — x, x, respectively (interleaved mode of detection) and have to be stored separately. By using a composite 90°x — 180°y — 90°x pulse instead of a single 180° x H pulse, artefacts arising from misadjusted H pulse lengths are suppressed. The delays are calculated according to t/2 = [0.25/Vch]. 8 = [0.25/3Jhh] and A = [O.S/nJCH], The, 3C chemical shift evolution delay t, must be equal for both evolution periods.

In the fault-free case the values of pipeline-registers will be written in backup-registers. As backup-registers, checksum registers can be used. Figure 1 shows the micro-rollback in cycle-interleaved mode. As a consequence, a fault can be mapped onto a stage I, since the context is changed in each cycle. The rollback of queues, e.g. instruction stream buffers can be done easily, if the first element within the queue is used for the rollback. [Pg.1901]

The interlaced or interleaved mode describes a situation in which the sputter beam is switched on during the flight time of the secondary ions produced by the analysis beam. To avoid interferences between the analysis and sputter beams, a delay and lead-off time of several ps is implemented. This represents the fester and hence, more commonly used mode for depth profiling. This mode is also better for interface analysis and allows for reduced adsorption of gas phase species. [Pg.231]

Figure 27 Edited broadband HMBC spectrum of cyclosporine using the pulse sequences shown in Figure 26 in an interleaved manner. The two subspectra, CH + CH3 (left) and C + CH2 (right), exemplify the editing properties. The spectrum in the bottom displays the two subspectra, CH + CH3 (black) and C + CH2 (grey) in the same frame. The number of scans was 32 for each of the 128fi increments, the relaxation delay was 1 s, and the range for the third-order low-pass. /-filter was 115 Hz < Vch < 165 Hz. The spectra were processed to maintain the absorptive profiles in F, while a magnitude mode was done in F2. If the time consumption is acceptable and the image drift is negligible, a scan line can be scanned twice to separate topography and electrical properties. In this case, a first scan in contact or better in a dynamic mode without an electrical excitation is performed. The tip is lifted and for the following second scan the z-piezo is controlled in a way that the tip follows the same topography as for the first scan (constant tip-sample distance or interleave scan). During this second line scan, one of the above-mentioned measurements of electrical properties can be performed [396]. [Pg.173]

The interleaving of the two flow paths proposed by Nunes is illustrated in the plan view showninFig. 3.12. Similar macrostructures have been observed in welds of dissimilar metals (Ref 23). The occurrence of stick-slide modes due to the interface between the weld tool and the work-piece would explain the origin of interleaving. The residue of the straight-through current metal flow predominates on the RS and the upper... [Pg.44]

There also exist different pulse sequences for the analysis and sputter beams during depth profiling. These are referred to as the interlaced or interleaved and the noninterlaced or Phase modes. Both essentially produce the same result on conductive samples when species present in the gas phase are not of interest, i.e. Hydrogen, Carbon, Oxygen, and Nitrogen. When these are of interest, the interlaced mode is preferred. [Pg.231]

The effects t < tocm and t < team were unexpected to us because t should only be occurring while being in Degraded Mode (due to transition te). Somehow, there was an interleaving in between that caused a transition to the Orbit Control Mode or to the Earth Acquisition Mode. The effect matrices furthermore showed that other transitions in the TT C were enabled by other unexpected transitions. This indicated that our model did not handle the mutual exclusion of the TT C with other components correctly. This was corrected in our final model. [Pg.249]
