The mechanics don t have to take complicated and confusing installation dimensions with respect to spring tension and face loading.

These companies catalogues generally contain technical drawings with installation dimensions, and quite often examples of use. It should be remembered that the guidelines given in catalogues, e.g., gate diameters, only refer to nozzles from the manufacturer in question. 

Specific to each machine, the installation dimensions, centering, attachments, and connections (e.g., cooling water) of the different shape-molding machines must be taken into account. 

All the relevant dimensions (e.g., inside micrometer of guides and centering, nozzle tip position and height, as well as the installation dimensions) are measured in coordinate measuring machines in the assembled state and are recorded in a test report, as shown in Figure 2.51. Interesting hot runner solutions have been specifically developed for multi-cavity, gateless injection of smaii and micro injection molded parts in a confined space. As a standard system, solutions with 4, 8, and 16 injection points and injection intervais of only 8,10, or 20 mm are offered. Special gauges are available on request. The minimal installation dimensions of hot runner systems enable tbe use in molds with outer dimensions of 75 x 75 mm. Therefore, even with mold solutions for mini-injection molding machines such as babyplast, modular, multi-cavity hot runner direct connections can be realized. The outer dimensions of mini hot runner systems, illustrated in Figure 2.59, are only 34 x 32 x 100 mm. 

In the Stem-Gerlach experiment a narrow beam of sodium atoms in the ground state was passed through a highly nonuniform magnetic field (Figure E7.15). What nonuniformity of the magnetic field dBldz should be provided so that the distance between the components of the sodium atoms split beam fixed on the screen will be equal to (5 = 6 mm The installation dimensions are /j = 10 cm, Ij = 15 cm, speed of atoms is equal to Ug = 400 m/sec. The whole installation is placed in a hermetic vacuum shield. 

Final screen selection is such that the length and width dimensions match off-the-shelf machines in order to keep costs down. Operating the installed screen at a feed rate greater or less than the design rate results in a less efficient screening operation, because bed depth varies with feed rate. 

Important in the planning for an installation that is to handle rail and highway equipment are the width, length, height, and turning radius of vehicles that will serve the facility. Controlled Lrrading - The grip onto the shaft is determined by the seal design and the machined groove, and not the mechanic s ability to install the seal at the proper dimension and spring loading. 

Ohmic voltage drops resulting in losses cannot be ignored in the connecting cables with long anode cables and high protection currents [28]. Cable costs and losses must be optimized for economic reasons. The most economic calculated cable dimension depends primarily on the lowest cross-section from the thermal point of view. No restrietion is plaeed on agitator type, whereas if a eoil is installed it restriets agitator dimensions. 

A fume cupboard should be sited to avoid disturbances to the fume cupboard, its operator, and other personnel. It should not interfere with the escape route from the area in the event of an emergency. It should be sited to maximize the working efficiency of the cupboard and the area in which it is installed. Although specified dimensions and layout cannot guarantee performance, the values in Table 10.8 are based on experience and are widely used.
