Another attempt at collaboration was in 1894, when KS contacted Kemistforeningen [The Chemists Association], an informal forum for chemists at Stockholms Hdgskola. The NDT Newsgroup and other forums are playing an important role in expediting meeting and communieation among your NDT colleagues on the Internet - Email is the most important tool for that. Not only technical discussions but also business to business or even direct inquiries are today handled via the Internet. Statistics are presented with more information on specific usage.

Moreover, it can also be used as a forum to obtain important information on the book, to find corrections of errors (if any), and to discuss aspects of chemoinformatics. In some organizations, designated individuals have specific responsibility for eliciting detailed information from operational staff on the immediate and underlying causes of incidents. EURACHEM is a network of organizations in Europe, having the objective of establishing a system for the international traceability of chemical measurements and the promotion of good quality practices. It provides a forum for the discussion of common problems and for developing an informed and considered approach to both technical and policy issues.

The group will furnish a forum for research workers in chemistry and other scientific fields to discuss problems of mutual interest, and develop a better concept of the many problems involved through the exchange of information and viewpoints. 

The second day of the 1984 Forum was a great success, and conveyed alot of important information to the participants. It was devoted to a comparison of experiences of various countries in nuclear power.
