FiG. 24 CVs of Langmuir-Schaefer films of cytochrome P450scc on indium-tin oxide glass plate (ITO) in 10 mM phosphate buffer containing 0.1 M KCl at a scan rate of 20 mV/s between 0.4 and -0.6 V vs. Ag/AgCl. [Pg.171]

FIG. 26 Cyclic voltammograms of 40 monolayers of Langmuir-Schaefer films of cytochrome P450SCC on indium-tin oxide glass plate (ITO) in 10 mM phosphate buffer at a scan rate of 20 mV/s between 0.4 and —0.4 V vs. Ag/AgCl. LS films on ITO worked as the working electrode, platinum as the counter, and Ag/AgCl as the reference electrode. Cholesterol dissolved in X-triton 100 was added 50 p.1 at a time (1) with cholesterol, (2) 50 p.1 of cholesterol, (3) 100 p.1 cholesterol, and (4) 150 p.1 of cholesterol. [Pg.173]

Method of doping (exposure of LB film 763 to iodine vapor, immersion of LB films in aqueous KI3 solution, or anodic oxidation of LB films deposited on indium tin oxide glass) determined properties of the films. Lateral [Pg.165]

In a recent pubHcation, Alivisatos and co-workers reported the making of hybrid nanorods-polymer solar cells and their properties [122]. These solar cells were made by spin casting of a solution of both poly(3-hexylthiophene) (hole acceptor) and CdSe nanorods (electron acceptor) onto indium tin oxide glass substrates coated with poly(ethylene dioxythiophene) doped with polystyrene sulfonic acid and aluminum as a top contact. Nanorods have been used in composites so as to improve the carrier mobiHty. Indeed, the latter can be high for some inorganic semiconductors, but it is typically extremely low for conjugated polymers [123]. The use of the nanorods suppHes an interface for the charge transfer as well as a direct path for electrical transport. Also, because of their anisotropy, self-assembly of these nanorods is observed by electron microscopy. It shows... [Pg.160]

Phani et al. [99] reported the electrodeposition of polyparaphenylene (PPP) films on an indium-tin oxide glass and platinum electrode from a water-continuous SDS microemulsion containing benzene and concentrated sulfuric acid. It is difficult to obtain homogeneous coherent films of high molecular weight PPP via electrodeposition. The PPP films deposited... [Pg.674]

Reeently, Bis Ndo sTisO thin films were prepared on indium tin oxide/glass substrates using a metal organic decomposition method at temperatures ranging from 500 to 650 °C [30]. A predominantly (lOO)-oriented BNdT thin film can be obtained even at 550 °C. The largest values of the remanent polarization and piezoresponse are observed in the BNdT thin film annealed at 650 °C, which can be ascribed to the grain growth and the release of the inplane residue tension stress. [Pg.249]
