The Marshall and Swift (M S) Equipment Cost Index (6), formerly Marshall and Stevens, for installed equipment costs is pubHshed monthly in the ChemicalPngineering]om n. A. The ENR Constmction Cost Index, reported in the Engineering Nem Record, also weights constmction materials and labor. 

The Merck Index reports that the specific rotation ([a]p) of clopidogrel as + 51.52°, when the measurement is made at a concentration of 1.61 g/dl in methanol. It was also reported that for the bisulfate salt, [a]p = +55.10° (c = 1.891 in methanol). The latter value is consistent with the data... 

The melting point of lomefloxacin was determined visually (11). The melting range for lomefloxacin was 235-245° C for the solid collected immediately after titrating to pH 7 (the zwitterionic species). The range for the mesylate salt was 314-319° C. The Merck Index reports the melting point for lomefloxacin to be 239-240.5° C and the hydrochloride salt to be 290-300° C. The salt form decomposes at that temperature (12). 

Pyrantel tartrate has a somewhat higher safety factor than tetramisole, according to published accounts (see Table I), though neither approaches the high therapeutic index reported for thiabendazole.

The utility cost coefficients A and B are characteristic of the considered utility and can be given either by a single number, as in the case of purchased electricity (A = 0.00013 and B = 0.01), or by a correlation, as in the case of compressed air (A = 0.00005 In p and B = 0.0009 In p, where q and p are the total air-plant capacity and the delivered air pressure, respectively). A production index reports the ratio of production in a given sector in a given year to the production in the same sector in a base year. Often the index is partly physical, partly economic Physical production is weighed on the basis of the economic value of the different products. This measure is mainly used for studying changes in one country over time.

Titanium content was estimated quantitatively by U.V. spectrophotometric method [12]. Magnesium and chlorine contents were analyzed titrimetrically [12]. Similar to the United States, a plethora of industries are affected by MSDs. The 2013 Liberty Mutual Workplace Safety Index reported the most disabling workplace injuries and illnesses in 2011 amounted to 55.4 billion in direct US. workers ... 

Analogous to melt index reporting of temperature and weight (e.g. 190/2.16), is it too much to ask the resin manufacturer to report automatically on the data sheet the ASTM D 8 Tensile Properties of Plastics specimen type (I - V) and the strain rate along with the extensometer used Also useful would be including 4e complete stress v. strain curve, which illustrates overall ductility, rather than a limited series of single data points, such as the elongation and stress at yield or at break.
