Hydraulic block machine

Most of the laboratory development work for this technology on mix design, formulations, processing conditions, property determination and durability evaluation has been completed. In addition, conceptual design and optimization of process conditions for a semi-commercial hydraulic block machine have been worked out. [Pg.134]

Particle count tests are important to anticipating potential system or machine problems. This is especially true in hydraulic systems. The particle count analysis made a part of a normal lube oil analysis is quite different from wear particle analysis. In this test, high particle counts indicate that machinery may be wearing abnormally or that failures may occur because of temporarily or permanently blocked orifices. No attempt is made to determine the wear patterns, size and other factors that would identify the failure mode within the machine. [Pg.801]

Macaroni Press. A hydraulic press with a perforated false bottom. A so-called preliminary block is placed between the piston of the press and the bottom. This block consists of NC, previously colloided in a kneading machine with solvents such as eth-alc, acet, etc, blended with other ingredients such as dipHenylamine,... [Pg.19]

While many machines use only one hydraulic accumulator (as shown, for example, in Fig. 8.128g.l) and the two hydraulic cylinders are connected with common hydraulic tubing, the more sophisticated (and better) system uses at least one accumulator per bearing block and pressure lines that are separated from each other by non-return valves. In this design (as shown in Fig. 8.136), if the floating roller cocks, the hydraulic pressure in that part of the system that moves more also increases more and tries to push the bearing block back to regain a parallel position. Systems that are always in... [Pg.358]

As shown in Figure 1, each side of studied shearer machine has a ranging arm and a cutting drum. The arm is fixed to drive unit and electric system block by means of the articulated joint and pins. The arm can be lifted and lowered down in steeples way, and maintained at desired height by means of hydraulic servo. [Pg.1259]
