Afferent input from cutaneous and visceral nociceptors is known to converge on spinal neurons, which accounts for the referral of pain between visceral and cutaneous structures (e.g. cardiac pain gets referred to the chest and left upper arm in patients suffering from angina pectoris). Projection neurons in the spinal dorsal horn project to cell nuclei in supraspinal areas such as the thalamus, brainstem and midbrain. Of these, the synaptic junctions in the thalamus play a very important role in the integration and modulation of spinal nociceptive and non-nociceptive inputs. Nociceptive inputs are finally conducted to the cortex where the sensation of pain is perceived (Fig. 1). The mechanisms via which the cortex processes nociceptive inputs are only poorly understood. 

Let us now illustrate how the horn clause for of predicate logic can be used for the unfolding of the branching structure and the synthesis of new solutions.

Coordinates such as these, which have the symmetry properties of the point group are known as symmetry coordinates. As they transform in the same manner as the IRs when used as basis coordinates, they factor the secular determinant into block-diagonal form. Thus, while normal coordinates most be found to diagonalize the secular determinant, the factorization resulting horn the use of symmetry coordinates often provides considerable simplification of the vibrational problem. Widespread use of mirex may lead to altered population structure in terrestrial systems, with resurgence or escalation of nontarget pests due to selective mirex-induced mortality of predators (NAS 1978). For example, populations of immature horn flies and rove beetles, two species of arthropods normally preyed upon by fire ants, were higher in mirex-treated areas than in control areas (Howard and Oliver 1978). Conversely, other species, such as crickets, ground beetles, and various species of oil-loving ants, were directly affected and populations were still depressed or eliminated 14 months posttreatment (NAS 1978), whereas fire ants recovered to higher than pretreatment levels, as judged by mound numbers and mound size (Summerlin et al. 1977).

Potential for diamond-bearing kimberlites is also present Sambaa K e area. There are basement and structural similarities with the Buffalo Head Hills kimberlite field, Alberta (Prior et al. 2007) and there is ongoing diamond exploration within the WCSB to the north as well.
