Histological effects dermal changes

Reproductive Effects. No studies were located regarding reproductive effects in humans after inhalation, oral, or dermal exposure to fuel oils. No histological changes were noted in the reproductive system of mice dermally exposed to JP-5 for 13 weeks or chronically exposed to marine diesel fuel or JP-5 (NTP/NIH 1986) or in rats following intermediate-duration inhalation of diesel fuel aerosol (Lock et al. 1984). There is not enough information to assess the human reproductive toxicity to fuel oils by oral, inhalation, or dermal exposures. [Pg.92]

Cardiovascular Effects. No gross or histological alterations in the heart or changes in heart weight were observed in rats treated dermally with doses of 50-250 mg 4- nitrophenol/kg/day for 120 days (Angerhofer 1985). [Pg.33]
