GENERAL INDEX setting

The Chemical Abstracts System (CAS) produces a set of various databases ranging from bibliographic to chemical structure and reaction databases. All the databases originate from the printed media of Chemical Abstracts, which was first published in 1907 and is divided into different topics. Author index, general index, chemical structure index, formula index, and index guide arc entries to the corresponding database (Table 5-3). 

The multi-criteria assessment is based on the decision-making procedure reflecting combined effect of all criteria under consideration and is expressed in the form of General Index of Sustainability [8, 9, 10], Selected numbers of indicators are taken as measure of the criteria comprising specific information of the options under consideration. The procedure is aimed to express options property by the respective set of indicators.

In general, the first step in virtual screening is the filtering by the application of Lipinski s Rule of Five [20]. More generally, it is possible to combine sets of Cartesian displacement coordinates qk into so-called symmetry adapted coordinates Qrj, where the index F labels the irreducible representation and j labels the particular combination of that symmetry. These symmetry adapted coordinates can be formed by applying the point group projection operators to the individual Cartesian displacement coordinates. 

This expression is known as the vapor lock index (VLI) or the front-end volatility index (EEVI). The name chosen may be different for each situation, although that is not necessarily so. 

For our present purpose we shall need to retain much more information about these graphs. Specifically, we want to find the sum of the cycle indexes of their automorphism groups. This is still basically a Polya-type problem, for which we replace T(x) by the sum of the cycle indexes of rooted trees. If T denotes the set of rooted trees, then this cycle index sum can be written Z(T ). Note that we can always recover F(x) from Z( T) for since the sum of the coefficients in the cycle index is 1, we have only to replace each occurrence of 5j by x Each cycle index for a tree on n vertices then reduces to x". This result is general and applies to any cycle index sum. 

The NSS concept corresponds to an operator attached to an arbitrary number of nested sums. In other words, a NSS represents a set of summation symbols where the number of them can be variable. In a general notation one can write a NSS as E (j=i,f,s,L) where the meaning of this convention corresponds to perform all the sums involved in the generation of all the possible values of the index vector j under the fulfillment of the set of logical expressions collected in the components of the vector L. Research done in an academic setting generally results in a formal publication that appears in the primary literature. The research results contained in dissertations may or may not be published separately. Dissertations are catalogued and placed on the shelves of the student s university.
