Perspective and Future Outlook

Hydrogenated polymers have many desirable properties over their parent polymers, although the high cost of hydrogenated products still restricts their widespread application. The following aspects should be considered for the sustainable development of the hydrogenated polymer industry

Recent results have been summarized in a number of articles, especially in this journal.17-19 This review will focus on newly developed HMBC pulse sequences and application on small to medium-sized organic molecules. After a short introduction into basic theory, a selection of pulse sequences and a look at the large variety of applications will complete the overview of the HMBC experiment. Finally, a brief summary and outlook to future perspectives of HMBC will be given.

Rather than adding another facet to this already breathtaking panorama of the field, it might be appropriate here to emphasize "where it is going". The present essay will therefore not be extensively documented but rather present some conjectures for the future, mainly based on and illustrated by work performed in the author s laboratories. An outlook towards the perspectives of supramolecular chemistry, and more generally of supramolecular science, has been presented a few years ago [7]. These perspectives still hold and will be borrowed in part from this earlier text. Considerations on some selected areas will be given along three main themes ... 

This chapter briefly reviews recent research advances in the emerging field of soft electronics. Various strategies for realizing elastic electronics are addressed, and the focus of this chapter lies in microfluidic approaches. Recently reported elastomeric soft electronic devices using microfluidic techniques, e.g., elastic passive antennas, a soft RF radiation sensor, as well as a reversibly stretchable, body-worn wireless strain sensor, are presented and analyzed in detail. Lastly, future perspectives and outlook for silicone-based soft electronics are discussed.
