A large collaborative effort was launched within the Consortium for Functional Glycomics (CFG) to centralize many of the cloned and expressed GTs and over expressing them as active enzymes. These enzymes are expressed as referenced in O Table 1 and continuously being explored for preparative synthesis of oligosaccharides and glycoconjugates as described below.
