Full development detailed plan

A Initially a team of five or six will develop a detailed proposal. We will then select a division for a pilot study. The pilot will have a team of about 12 people, half of whom will be full-time. As the integration is rolled out in other divisions, I expect a slightly lower level of effort, as we will have learned from our earlier experiences. We will also use an outside consultant to help us develop our plans and review implementation.

The outline plan forms the basis for a detailed deeommissioning strategy to be produeed by the plant lieensee/operator and developed throughout the lifecycle of the facility. As the end of the operational lifetime of the facility is approached, a detailed deconunissioning plan will be produced. This detailed plan will expand and improve upon the outline plan, and will reflect the best available technology. As required by the nuclear site licence, the development of the detailed plan will be undertaken with full consultation with the regulatory authorities. 

Details are given of processes currently under development in Europe and the US for recycling plastics waste into feedstocks. In particular, the efforts of BP Chemicals and Shell are reported who have plans to form consortia of chemical companies. Problems associated with costs and logistics are discussed, which are preventing full-scale commercialisation. 

Cost-benefit analyses (CBA) for each building protection system might have to be updated several times during the life cycle of a system. The first round of cost-benefit analysis is used to get concept approval to proceed with a more detailed one. A detailed cost-benefit analysis would then be conducted early in the design phase of the protection system. After the detailed analysis has been completed, the development and implementation plans might call for a prototype system or a pilot phase to test the costs and benefits on a small scale before the full system is implemented for all users. If a pilot phase is needed, a third version of the cost-benefit analysis would reflect revised costs and benefits and would be used to decide whether to proceed with full implementation of the system. The post-implementation review of a system might require an updated cost-benefit analysis to determine whether the expected benefits are being achieved and to decide whether the operation of the system should continue as implemented or be modified to achieve benefits that justify continued operation. 

Fascinating stories develop between the desperate entrepreneurs and the reluctant investors. Each venture is unique in its detail, but similar in its development. Between the exuberance of the plans of the project and the ecstasy of the financial rewards of the enterprise lies a rollercoaster ride of stress, depression and despair, intermittent with brief periods of hope and anticipation. Unfortunately, most ventures don t have the resources to hire a full-time psychiatrist to professionally assist those with the venture syndromes in this transitional period.
