Most solutions found by solving the corr5>lete set of piezoelectric material equations are very simple approximations. Computation, typically using finite element analysis software, is often necessary for practical cases. The software system must be the best CAD/CAM system which is rich in excellent features, such as the 3-dimensional solid modeling software, curved surface producer, finite element analysis package, 3-5 axis surface cutting, cavity cutting, and tool path calculation ability for many types of machine tools with numerical control. 

The finite element (FE) model of the FSSW process was done using ABAQUS/Explicit software. A 3-D dynamic fully coupled thermal-stress analysis was performed to obtain thermomechanical responses of the FSSW process. Two features in the FE package were deployed in order to obtain the results ... 

For this analyzation two different models are used. One is a simple cantilever beam model and a volumes finite element model both with constant mass and stiffness disruption. The beam model was solved analytically, see below, the finite element model was solved with the finite element software package SLang developed at the Bauhaus Universitat Weimar, Germany. There are many versions of software programs available for the analysis and design of composite laminates and laminated structural elements. ESAComp is one such version, initiated by the European Space Agency, covering fiber/matrix mechanics, plies, laminates, plates and stiffened panels, beams and columns, bonded joints and mechanical joints. The software can interface with the widely nsed finite element software packages.
