Fill time station

There are two ways of refueling compressed natural gas (CNG) time-fill or fast-fill. For a time-fill compressor, it is necessai y to develop a pressure only slightly greater than the vehicle storage pressure—the gas flows from greater pressure to less pressure. Time-fill compressor stations can require a couple of hours to refuel, which is a major inconvenience for most motorists. However, it is the best choice for many fleets that can he refueled overnight with one fill-post for each vehicle to be refueled. [Pg.830]

The foaming of diesel fuel has drawn a certain attention in the last decade. Antifoams are usually one component of a package of diesel additive, which is used to adjust and improve the properties of the distillate from the refinery [44]. Antifoams prevent foam formation of the treated diesel fuel during pumping at refineries and service stations at treat rates between 5 and 15 ppm. They help to shorten substantially the filling time of fuel tanks and avoid splashing over. [Pg.601]

Current research on fuel cells is directed toward the replacement of the internal combustion engine. To do this, hydrogen must be stored in the vehicle and replenished from time to time at filling stations. Multiple arm machines rotate molds into the different stations of the process. A three-arm machine would, for example, have one mold filling while another is heating in the oven and the third cooling in preparation of demolding. This is very efficient but requires that each stage takes the same time to accomplish. When there are three different parts, the largest part or the one with the thickest walls defines the speed for the entire process. [Pg.268]

On a rotary press the filling of the die and the following compression process is done at the same time at different stations. The compression is carried out in the simplest case with two rolls touching the upper and lower punches and compressing the powder mixture.
