Exposure Assessment of the Triazine Herbicides

Selman, F. (1996a). A Revised Assessment of Worker Exposure For Atrazine in Response to the USEPA Issuance of the Triazine Herbicides Position Document 1 Initiation of Special Review. Submitted to USEPA. [Pg.498]

Selman, F. (1996c). Supplemental Data and Evaluation of Exposure to Lawn Care Operators Using Atrazine in the Southern United States, Supplement to ABR-95038 - Assessment of Worker Exposure for Issuance of the Triazine Herbicides Position Document — Initiation of Special Review , Ciba-Geigy, ABR-96069, Submission by Ciba Crop Protection, Ciba-Geigy Corporation, Greensboro, NC, USA. [Pg.315]

Tier I exposure assessments represent an unrealistic, worst-case scenario since maximum use rates and minimum preharvest intervals are rarely used in normal agricultural practice. In addition, all triazine herbicides are not used on 100% of all planted acres. Further refinements lead to a more realistic assessment and to a significant reduction in the exposure estimate. [Pg.416]
