Export Data button

Well, the user will tell MATLAB what to do with the acquired data (i.e., the captured image or images). To export the data to a place where you can handle the data later using MATLAB different image-based tools and functions, click on the Export Data button (top middle pane). A window pops up as shown in Fig. 4.17. 

Figure 4.17 Clicking on the Export Data button will bring up a pop-up window wherein the user has the chance to tell MATLAB where to keep the image data and in what format.

Once we click the Generate Derivatives button, the model runs several times at the base and perturbed values of the independent variables. The DELTA BASE values appear in the table shown in Figure 4.117. These values may be directly copied into an Excel spreadsheet for Aspen PIMS or exported for further study. We can export the table to a PIMS style interface by clicking the Export Data . The exported data appear as shown in Figure 4.118. 

There are other options for creating delimited ASCII files from the Export Wizard. From the Select Export Type window you can pick tab delimited or delimited file as one of the standard data sources if you want delimited files. If you choose the delimited file option, you can choose your field delimiter by clicking the Options button. For instance, if you were creating a pipe-delimited file, the Select Export Type window would look like this ... 

All the sections must be completed by the user and then submitted to a single administrator for addition to the database. Upon completion of the form, the user has the option of making a check submission, which processes the data and performs error checks as normal, but displays the verdict on screen for the user rather than sending the data to the administrator. A variety of errors are checked, including missing data and inconsistent data, invalid molecular structures or numeric data outside the normal range. When the user is satisfied with the form data, they can be submitted to the administrator via the export button. Upon submission, the data are stored... 

Image and data exporting. As with genomic maps, any part of the gene view layout can be selected and copied into another application. Also, numerical data associated with filtered ORFs can be exported as Excel worksheet by clicking on the ORF set at the Tab Filtered window with the right mouse button.
