Exhaled breath condensate collected by cooling or freezing the exhaled air is a totally noninvasive procedure. H2O2, leukotrienes, isoprostanes, and 3-nitrotyrosine are good candidates for OS assessments (Paredi et ah, 2002). These products have been shown to elevate lung inflammation.
