The primary cooling system consists of a reactor vessel, three IHX vessels, three pump vessels and reverse-U shaped piping to connect these vessels. The coolant surface level in the IHX vessel during operation is lower than that in the reactor vessel due to the pressure loss in the hot leg piping.
