Engineering Problem Solving

Perhaps the most important job that the engineer faces on a day-to-day basis is the need to solve problems. Several problem solving approaches arc presented in Part IV in an attempt to identify hazards (particularly of an accidental nature). These problem solving methods include, but are not limited to  [Pg.303]

Tlie chemical mid common nmne(s) must be provided for single chemical substances. [Pg.304]

An identity on tlie MSDS must be cross-referenced to tlie identity found on tlie label. [Pg.304]

For a hazardous chemical mixture tliat lias been tested as a whole to determine its liazards, the chemical and common names of the ingredients tliat are associated with the liazards, mid tlie common name of the mixture must be listed. [Pg.304]

If the chemical is a mixture tliat has not been tested as a whole, tlie chemical and common names of all ingredients deteniiined to be healtli liazards mid compromising 1 percent or greater of the composition must be listed. [Pg.304]
