Elsholtzia splendens

Lee J-S, Kim GH, Lee HG. Characteristics and antioxidant activity of elsholtzia splendens extract-loaded nanoparticles. J Agric Food Chem. 2010 58(6) 3316-3321. [Pg.761]

To quantify images of parts of heavy-metal-tolerant plants (leaves of Elsholtzia splendens) in order to study the hyperaccum-mulation of Cu and Zn, the standard reference material, NIST SRM 1515 apple leaves, was doped, mixed and homogenized with analytes of defined concentration. The quantification was performed via an external calibration procedure by measuring the calibration curves. Another standard reference material, NIST SRM 1547 Peach Leaves, was used to validate the analytical procedure (44, 45). [Pg.59]

Wu, B., Zoriy, M., Chen, Y., Becker, J. S. (2009) Imaging of nutrient elements in the leaves of Elsholtzia splendens by laser ablation inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (LA-ICP-MS). Talanta, 78, 132-137. [Pg.81]

Becker et al. used LA-ICP-MS (a Nd YAG laser, wavelength 266 nm, repetition frequency 20 Hz, spot size 300 pm) for quantitative imaging of toxic and essential elements in thin sections of tobacco tissues (Figure 10.28). Wu et al. studied essential element accumulation in the newly formed, fully grown and oldest leaves of a Cu-tolerant plant Elsholtzia splendens after Cu treatment by LA-ICP-MS. The materials of the leaves were ablated by a Nd YAG laser... [Pg.330]
