Electrical schematic

A typical electrical schematic for an 8 MW power station is shown in Figure 15.20. 

Figure 11-5 reveals two low-noise construction techniques, as applied to a typical flyback transformer. We should compare the right-hand electrical schematic with its equivalent winding version to the left. In the discussion below, we note that though transformers with split windings are not being explicitly discussed here, the same principles can be easily extended and applied to them, too. When disassembling a battery into cells, always refer to an electrical schematic if at all possible.

A set of standards governs the schematic symbob used for electrical circuits. The standards for electrical schematics were developed by the same agency that established the guidelines of dimensioning on engineering... 

Analytical trees make excellent project description documents because they are relatively easy to construct and easy to understand. Many end users and some safety professionals, engineers, and managers are not skilled in reading blueprints, electrical schematics, or other technical documents. The analytical too is an excellent means for communicating project information within a system safety working group. 

An electrical schematic diagram looks very like a circuit diagram. Figure 3.92 shows a schematic diagram.

There are two n-channel transistors on the left and two p-channel transistors on the right. There is also a ground or VSS buss line running vertically on the left and a VDD line on the right. Figure 8.75 shows the equivalent electrical schematic of the structure in Fig. 8.74. In Fig. 8.76 is shown only one pair of n- and p-channel transistors and locations within the device area where one of the customizing layers, the contacts, maybe placed. The physical representation of a particular library cell contains information of how the uncommitted transistors in the device columns should be connected.

Schematic capture The process by which the functionality of the chip is captured in an electrical schematic, usually with the aid of a computer, and using components from a cell library resident in that computer.

Data Section All supporting data used to develop the FMEA, as well as that which can assist in the presentation of the final analysis, should be included in the final FMEA report. These data can include photographs of the system, subsystem, or individual component(s) being analyzed layout drawings electrical schematics and, of course, the FMEA worksheets.
