Eight, group

The subject matter of quality objectives is prescribed by the quality policy to some extent. Hence an appropriate method would be to derive one or more statements of objectives from each statement in the quality policy. If you adopt the eight quality management principles as your framework, having eight groups of quality objectives would not be unreasonable (see previously under Subject matter for quality policy). [Pg.105]

In Figure 4.9 Snyder s solvent selectivity triangle is presented. The solvents of Table 4.2 are marked in the plot with triangular coordinates for the eight groups. [Pg.80]

In Fig. 8 are shown the olefin carbon spectra of four copolymers as a function of temperature, including that shown in Fig. 6. As we have seen, eight groups of resonances are recognizable. [Pg.17]

So far nine arginine methyltransferases [46] and more than 20 lysine methyltransferases [11] have been identified in humans. Many of them show links to cancer. We discuss several of these subtypes below and an overview can be found in Tables 12.1 and 12.2. For lysine methyltransferases traditionally individual names have been used for the various subtypes. Lately, a common nomenclature for chromatin modifying enzymes has been proposed. For the human lysine methyltransferases the name KMTs should be used in analogy to (P)RMTs and eight groups (KMTl-8) with different subtypes suggested for some members [47]. But this nomenclature is not used consistently even throughout the recent literature so we provide both names if available in Table 12.2. [Pg.254]

Classification In accordance with the structure of the R-group. the amino adds of primary importance can be classified into eight groups. Additional amino acids composing protein are not included in this classification, because they occur infrequently. See Table 4. [Pg.79]

Institute, Chingleput, India. Eight groups of 6 mice each inoculated with biopsy material from a LL patient with BI over 2+ and MI 17.. Each treated animal received 0.5 mg DFS/day (20 mg/kg body weight) in the diet. [Pg.457]

CDDs are a family of 75 different compounds commonly referred to as polychlorinated dioxins. These compounds have varying harmful effects. The CDD family is divided into eight groups of chemicals based on the number of chlorine atoms in the compound. The group with one chlorine atom is called the mono-chlorinated dioxin(s). The groups with two through eight chlorine atoms are called di-chlorinated dioxin (DCDD), tri-chlorinated dioxin (TrCDD), tetra-chlorinated dioxin (TCDD), penta-chlorinated dioxin (PeCDD), hexa-chlorinated dioxin (HxCDD), hepta-chlorinated dioxin (HpCDD), and octa-chlorinated dioxin (OCDD). The chlorine atoms can be attached to the... [Pg.22]

Carbon atomic groups which constitute coal are classified into eight groups indicated in Table I based on the structural analyses of coals. The number of each group present in coal denoted by CHx0y (MAF basis) is obtained as follows. [Pg.374]

Recently many oxa-thiacrown ethers have been reporte classified into eight groups according to their structures. [Pg.829]

For neutral molecules, the contribution of each atom to the electron supply is the number of valence electrons of the neutral atom. (This is the same as the group number of the element when the periodic table is divided into eight groups.) For ions, the electron supply is decreased by one for each positive charge of a cation and is increased by one for each negative charge of an anion. [Pg.2]
