Earthing Single point earths

This Primal Matter is commonly called Sulphur and Quicksilver. Raymond Lully, (Codicit. c.9,) calls them the two extremes of the STONE and of all the metals. Others say, in general, that the sun is its father and the moon its mother that it is male and female that it is composed of four, of three, of two and of one 5 and all this to conceal it. It is found everywhere on the earth, on the sea, on the plains, on the mountains, etc. The same author who says that their Matter is unique, says also that the STONE is composed of several individual principles. All these contradictions are only apparent, because they do not speak of Matter from a single point of view but in regard to its general principles, or to the different states in which it is found in its operations. [Pg.64]

Where an intrinsically safe circuit is earthed by construction at the place of the field device (e.g. this is frequently the case using thermocouples), an Ex i-isolator with galvanic isolation shall be inserted. Salt-inclusion solids described herein were synthesized at high temperature (>500°C) in the presence of reactive alkali and alkaline-earth metal halide salt media. Amide. — It has been pointed out before that europium behaves more or less like the alkaline earths and is closely related to strontium and barium. It is found to react with liquid ammonia at —78° C in much the same way as the alkali metals forming a characteristic deep blue solution. Eu(NH2)2 can be isolated [260] from the blue solution. Recent electron paramagnetic studies [261] of solutions of europium in liquid ammonia showed the presence of complex hyperfine lines arising from Eu2+ (8 7/2, g — 1.990 0.002) besides the characteristic single line of the solvated electron (g = 2.0014 0.0002) K The departure of the Eu2+ <7-value from the free electron value is explained as being due to spin-orbit coupling and a slight admixture (3.5%) of the 6P7/2 state. [Pg.117]

An application has been found in which a system that exhibits an upper, or lower, critical consolute point, UCST or LCST, respectively, is utilized. At a temperature above or below this point, the system is one homogeneous liquid phase and below or above it, at suitable compositions, it splits into two immiscible liquids, between which a solute may distribute. Such a system is, for instance, the propylene carbonate - water one at 25°C the aqueous phase contains a mole fraction of 0.036 propylene carbonate and the organic phase a mole fraction of 0.34 of water. The UCST of the system is 73 °C (Murata, Yokoyama and Ikeda 1972), and above this temperature the system coalesces into a single liquid. Temperature cycling can be used in order to affect the distribution of the solutes e.g. alkaline earth metal salts or transition metal chelates with 2-thenoyl trifluoroacetone (Murata, Yokayama and Ikeda 1972). [Pg.353]

All scientists agree that chemistry is the basis of life and with that preamble it seems almost certain that the first cells one sees in the Hadean stones are the first ones on earth their ancestors were the heat- and light-driven bio-reactors. The Darwinians see the same cells but because the (in principle unprovable) single origin is a creed of the model, they postulate that a single ancestor must have lived much earlier and mutated into all of the cells that are visible at this horizon. At this point the old hypothesis is defeated by the researchers in planetary sciences who do not see any biology-time before the time of the first massive invasion of the earth crust by cells.
