Duplicate information

In fact, the space described by two or three PCs can be used to represent the objects (score plot), the original variables (loading plot), or both objects and variables (biplot). For instance, if the first two PCs (low-order) are drawn as axes of a Cartesian plane, we may observe in this plane a fraction of the information enclosed in the original multidimensional space which corresponds to the sum of the variance values explained by the two PCs. Since PCs are not intercorrelated variables, no duplicate information is shown in PC plots. 

Any of the information previously provided by the sponsor to FDA under subpart B of 21 CFR may be referenced by specific page or location if it duplicates information required elsewhere in section 316.20. 

The notebook should contain all the information that would be needed to permit someone else to perform the same experiment in the same way. A further limitation on the contents of this book is the interdisciplinary structure of biotechnology. Complete coverage of all of the component areas of biotechnology exceeds the capabilities of one author. Such a book would also duplicate information already presented in readily available textbooks. The roller and silent chain manual and engineering steel chain manual, pubhshed as separate handbooks, contain some duplicate information. The text of the combined manual was formed by an editorial blending of the various sections of the two original manuals, plus some additional material not appearing in those publications. Publication of the combined manual also represents a continuation of the objectives of the ACA to enhance the quahty and utility of its products. The manual presents the information developed by the ACA and all its member companies.

Prior to the development of electrophotography, it was rather difficult to make copies of documents. However, relatively low cost technology was available for duplicating information when one could control the master. The preferred methods were mimeography and spirit duplication.
