Data leakage

Using Data Leakage Prevention to stop unauthorized data leakage over known interfaces (Fig. 18.8c)... [Pg.538]

Figure 18.24(b) illustrates the use of a leakage current monitor. The instrument can be used to display or monitor on a computer remotely and store data at intervals as required to provide diagnostic information. Now it is easier to take corrective measures in time. The instrument can also be programmed to give an alarm at a preset value of I, when the actual operating conditions exceed this. [Pg.619]

For the tandem arrangement gas seal, a primary seal vent must be pro vided to vent the leakage across the process side seal. This vent ma> lie to flare or other suitable gas disposal point. The back pressure under nor mal conditions should be kept to a low value. A small amount of back pressure is recommended to keep a positive differential across the see ondaiy seal. Leakage measurement may be provided in the vent line to provide health monitoring of the primary seal. Unfortunately, the rotameter, which would be the obvious choice, should not be used because of its lack o reliability. If an orifice or needle valve is used to set the back pressure to the seal vent, pressure upstream of the restriction can be measured for a relative flow measurement. This type of reading does provide trend data that may be used to judge the seal s performance. [Pg.327]

The problem of unknown amounts of air leakage in the cold season in an industrial hall can be calculated by multizone airflow models during the whole year with local meteorological data. [Pg.1035]

All of the information listed directly above is correlated to an all damages mode, individual subcategories of failure modes (internal leakage, for instance), and the influence parameters and their subdivisions. Realtime access is possible through a data base management system. [Pg.66]

Kern s correlation checks well for the data of Short, Bowman, and Tinker for a wide variety of baffle cuts and spacing for segmental baffles with and without leakage as summarized by Donohue. Short s data for disc and doughnut baffles is better calculated by ... [Pg.101]

Figure 4 shows the final ventilation system protection scheme. It should be noted that even with a blast valve that closes in a few milliseconds there will be some reduced shock pulse that "leaks through" during closure of the valve. The peak value of this shock is a function of losses occurring as the shock passes through the valve and the duration is the valve closure time. The leakage shock was predicted using the blast valve manufacturers test data. [Pg.246]
