The true vapor pressure of hydrocarbons is expressed in bar and represents the vapor pressure directly above a saturated liquid in equilibrium with the vapor that rises over it. 

In Figure 5.24 the predicted direct stress distributions for a glass-filled epoxy resin under unconstrained conditions for both pha.ses are shown. The material parameters used in this calculation are elasticity modulus and Poisson s ratio of (3.01 GPa, 0.35) for the epoxy matrix and (76.0 GPa, 0.21) for glass spheres, respectively. In the Davy-Powergas unit (118—120), shown in Figure 13c, the Hquids mn through a draft tube and are pumped by an impeller mnning directly above the draft tube. The dispersion flows out from the top of the mixer and down through a channel into a rectangular settler. Large units of this type are used for copper extraction (7). 

The area of influence of a vibrating discharger is limited to a cylinder, the diameter of which is roughly equal to the top diameter of the discharger. Hence, if a vibrating discharger is mounted onto a conical hopper section, flow is confined predominantly to a central flow channel located directly above the discharger. This is tme unless the slope and smoothness of the static cone meet requirements for mass flow, or the diameter of the flow channel exceeds the critical rathole diameter for the material. 

The tubercle apparent on the internal surface in Fig. 14.4 is located directly above a deep, longitudinal groove that runs the length of the internal surface. The tubercle caps a perforation in the tube wall. The tubercle is soft and easily dislodged. Other, smaller tubercles are aligned along the seam. 

This identifies the part of the earth s surface directly above the hypocentre and where it produces the most severe ground movements. Away from the epicentre, the acceleration and the intensity of ground movements diminish.

One slot was cut directly above the blade passage emplacement. The other slot was sealed off to prevent leakage. To prevent key-seating one stabilizer is placed directly above the top of drill collars. The configuration prevents drill collars wedging into a key seat during tripping out of the hole. 

Junk Basket. The Junk basket is a tool that can be run in conjunction with a milling tool or separately. It is designed to recover the smaller pieces that have been milled or pieces too large to be circulated to the surface. Figure 4-365 shows a typical Junk basket. The Junk basket is placed directly above the milling tool in the string.
