Danish Energy Agency

In addition, the company or employer liable in regard to providing protection (i.e., the company or employer in whose business or service the accident occurred) must report the following information to DEA as per the regulations [3]  [Pg.136]

Each year, the DEA compiles statistics on all reportable accidents and near-miss incidents and publishes them in the annual report on oil and gas production in Denmark. The DEA makes use of these statistics and the individual reports concerning injuries and near-miss incidents to prioritize its supervision-related activities. [Pg.136]

Finally, it is to be noted that all the accident reports are not directly available to the public. Additional information on DEA is available at the following website [3] http //www.ens.dk/en-US/OilAndGas/Health-and-Safety/ Work-Related-injuries%20etc/Sider/Forside.aspx. [Pg.136]

In Denmark, the special action plans have been drafted for limiting the consumption of a dangerous substance, e.g., for PVC, phthalates and j icultural pesticides. Danish regulation of chemical use is tightly bound to international j reements and, not only, to EU legislation. The overall responsibility in this field is kept by the Danish Environmental Protection Agency (Danish EPA), which is subordinate to the Ministry of Environment and Energy. [Pg.125]
