Customer property

While loss of product may not be considered a quality matter, it is if the product is customer property or if it prevents you from meeting your customer requirements. Delivery... [Pg.476]

Industrial wiring must have customized properties. [Pg.110]

Any property that belongs to the customer and is under the control of the laboratory in order to perform an operation or offer a service to this customer is administered with care. Customer property can include intellectual property. Examples of customer s... [Pg.63]

The company identifies, verifies, protects, and safeguards customer property provided for use or incorporation into the product, including intellectual property. If any customer property is lost, damaged, or otherwise found to be unsuitable for use, that is reported to the customer and records are maintained (see 4.2.4). [Pg.100]

Customer property includes intellectual property rights. [Pg.162]

The lost and damaged customer-supplied products are reported to the customer and records are maintained. Customer property includes the intellectual property. [Pg.353]

The organization identifies, verifies, protects, and safeguards customer property provided for use or incorporation into the product by maintaining its unique identity. [Pg.357]

For automotive applications, there is a need to develop specific membranes with custom surface/bulk properties in order to meet kinetics requirements (in particular cold start and acceleration). As discussed in Section 18.3, the permeation mechanism consists of two main steps (i) a surface step characterized by a surface resistance Rg and (ii) a bulk (diffusion-controlled) resistance Rj). For permeation in transient conditions of flow, the ratio Rg/Ro (Rs is the surface resistance and R the bulk diffusion resistance) is critical because the two steps are connected in series. Schematically, Rg is rate-controlling in transient conditions and R is rate-controlling in stationary conditions of flow. The value of the surface resistance Rg is a function of surface state (chemical composition of surface and roughness factor defined as the dimensionless ratio of the surface of the true to the geometrical solid-gas interface). The value of the bulk resistance R is a function of bulk state (chemical composition and microstructure) and membrane thickness (5).Therefore, the development of metallic membranes with custom properties requires the adjustment of all these physical parameters. [Pg.718]

This X-ray diffraction geometrical phenomenology can be nevertheless described by the custom properties of the dispersion surface (DS) as a physical dynamic concept of the diffraction as an optical phenomenon inside the crystal. [Pg.561]

Geotextiles are manufactured from both namral and synthetic fibres. However, the market is dominated by synthetic polymer-based geotextiles and related products these account for more than 90% of the market share (Elwood, 2004). The success of synthetics is mainly due to cost and customized properties. Unlike natural fibres harvested by farmers, synthetic fibres are generally mass produced from petrochemicals to achieve uniform strength, length and colour, and can easily be customized for specific applications. [Pg.61]
