Controlled activity

AlGaAs quantum well infrared photodetector (QWIP) focal planes have achieved sufficient sensitivity out to 10-p.m wavelength to result in scene temperature sensitivity of ca 0.2°C when the focal plane is cooled to 77 K. Spectral sensitivity is shown in Eigure 9c and array information is given in Table 1. The supedattice, a newer tool for achieving controlled activation energy, should present many alternative infrared detection techniques. 

Such sources constitute background pollution and that portion of the pollution problem over which control activities can have little, if any, effect. 

This control activity is primarily concerned with determining what products will be made in the batch plant and when those products will be made. This requires the control activity to interface with the process management, recipe management, and information management control activities. 

One of the main functions of this control activity is to select a master recipe from the recipe management control activity, edit that recipe and transform it into a control recipe suitable for downloading to the equipment-related control activity, downloading the recipe (i.e., initiating the batch), and then to supervise the execution of the recipe. 

This control activity includes process control and unit management. Process control includes those loops and devices that perform sequential control, regulatory control, and discrete control. Unit management is responsible for coordinating the activities associated with the batch units (e.g., allocating resources within the unit, ensuring that batch sequences proceed in the proper order, etc.). 

Depending upon the specifics of the toll, the primary control activity performed by the client during ongoing operations will be auditing the toller. This assures operations are going as planned and... 

First Responders need only awareness training to recognize that an emergency response situation exists and are instructed to summon employees who are fully trained. First Responders are not to attempt to control activities for which they are not trained. 

Quality control is also the term used as the name of a department. In most cases Quality Control Departments perform inspection and test activities and the name derives from the authority that such departments have been given. They sort good products from bad products and authorize the release of the good products. It is also common to find that Quality Control Departments perform supplier control activities, which are called Supplier Quality Assurance or Vendor Control. In this respect they are authorized to release products from suppliers into the organization either from the supplier s premises or on receipt in the organization.

Zembura has made specific use of the rotating disc for investigation of the effect of flow on corrosion reactions. Where MU requirements are high, irrespective of absolute boiler output, more sophisticated water conditioning is usually warranted than would otherwise be provided.
