Complex interventions systems

Due to the complexity of systems from oil industry, these interventions are intrusive, highly humanintensive and cost-consuming and thus minimizing them means decreasing the impact of human performance on the system and related costs as well.

Mathematical modehng is essentially the same process, but the description of the component performance is generally much more complex and detailed. This approach enables a user to vary more parameters easier, look into various possibilities for intervention, and predict the response of the system on different influences. Equationsolving does not necessarily have to be done by successive substitution or iteration as this procedure could suggest. 

Analysts The above is a formidable barrier. Analysts must use limited and uncertain measurements to operate and control the plant and understand the internal process. Multiple interpretations can result from analyzing hmited, sparse, suboptimal data. Both intuitive and complex algorithmic analysis methods add bias. Expert and artificial iutefligence systems may ultimately be developed to recognize and handle all of these hmitations during the model development. However, the current state-of-the-art requires the intervention of skilled analysts to draw accurate conclusions about plant operation. 

PCs all have one thing in common. They monitor the process variables, compare them to values known to be acceptable, and make appropriate corrections without operator intervention. The acceptable range of values can be determined by using melt flow analysis software and/or trial and error when the machine is first starting its production. Using the software approach, the acceptable process values are known before the mold or die is ever built. It should be noted that none of the PC solutions address the problem of the lack of skilled setup people. Most of the PC systems available today are rather complex and require skilled people to use them efficiently or at least start up the line. 

MMPs for therapeutic interventions is complicated by the fact that MMPs are indispensable for normal development and physiology and by their multifunctionality, possible functional redundancy or contradiction, and context-dependent expression and activity. This complexity was revealed by previous efforts to inhibit MMP activity in the treatment of cancer patients that yielded unsatisfactory results. Bacterial products such as lipopolysaccharides (endotoxins) and cytokines (IL-2) are able to activate the contact system in vitro and in vivo (D9, H4, H7, M41).
