Chemical analysis/categorization/testing

When the test period for all participants has expired, the spiking chemicals are announced and the participants reports are opened for evaluation. A copy of the reports is sent to the evaluating laboratory, which will evaluate the reports independently and in parallel with the OPCW Laboratory. Lor the purpose of evaluation, all reported chemicals, other than the spiking chemicals, are categorized. Categorization is based on the analysis results obtained by the assisting laboratories and by the OPCW Laboratory. The participants are scored on the basis of the outcome of the evaluation. 

Paper-based microfluidic sensor has the advantages of low cost, portability, and disposability compared to conventional microchips with glass substrate. Based on paper sensor platform, quantitative analysis of multiple analytes is achieved for disease diagnosis, environmental monitoring, and food inspection. Paper-based microfluidic sensors can be categorized into two families (1) On-demand sensor is an un-pretreated device and requires surface chemical deposition that depends on the type of test sample. (2) Functional sensor has been preloaded with reagents on the detection region and it is ready for immediate test for specific analytes.
