Certification bins

In the USA, for Tier 2 emission limits different bins have been defined. Passenger cars are certified in any of the available bins by choice of the vehicle manufacturer. With full implementation in 2009, the average NOx emission of the entire light-duty fleet sold by each manufacturer must meet 0.07 g/mile. For the individual bins, the full useful life emission limits are displayed in Table I. The very strict California low emission vehicle (LEV) II emission standards are covered in the lower number bins to make certification easier for vehicle manufacturers. 

In June 2005, Mater-Bi polymers were issued with the OK home compost certificate from Belgium s AIB Vincotte international certification institute meaning that it can be used in bags for the recycling of biodegradable organic waste in home compost bins. 

There are options to sample and test each delivery of labels or, through confidence in the printer, accept a certificate of conformance and only randomly sample occasional deliveries. Labels, once delivered and accepted, should be stored in individual, segregated and secure closed bins, one bin per part number. They should be issued on a first in first out (FIFO) system. 

A example of an X chart concerns a chemical product that is shipped in hopper cars with a sample taken from each car during loading. Laboratory tests are made on each sample for product certification, and this test becomes one dot on the chart. The cars are loaded from storage bins that are filled on an intermittent basis from a process unit. Laboratory results for the concentration of tm additive for the last 25 cars loaded are used to develop control charts for the product shipped. 

The ESC certification affects AssiDoman s forestry practices in a munber of ways. Some of the more important dianges are the requirements on an increased hardwood fraction and controlled binning on forest land, and the fact that more deadwood should be left. Besides consideration for the environment, the FSC s criteria also indude economic and sodal consideration. One example of the latter is that consideration be given to reindeer herding.
