Caravan sites

Consumer installations which supply LPG to more than one user (e.g. metered estates, holiday home parks, caravan sites) require the gas supplier (i.e. the site owner/operator, not the LPG supplier) to obtain prior consent from the Office of Gas Supply (Ofgas) and, for the necessary pipework installation, from the Department of Energy, Pipelines Inspectorate.

The outlook for Eastlays seemed bleak until, early in 1981, a sales caravan and several security men armed with walkie-talkies suddenly arrived on site. Soon it was leaked to the press that Guernsey-based Rusepalm Developments were going to transform Eastlays into a nuclear condominium where those who could afford it could buy protection against thermonuclear war and radioactive fallout. The quarry was to be subdivided into thousands of luxuriously equipped... 

Touring caravans must be supplied from a 16A industrial-type socket outlet adjacent to the caravan park pitch, similar to that shown in Fig. 3.75. Each socket outlet must be provided with individual over-current protection and an individual residual current circuit-breaker with a rated tripping current of 30 mA (lET Regulations 708.553.1.12 and 708.553.1.13). The distance between the caravan connector and the site socket outlet must not be more than 20 m (lET Regulation 708.530.3). These requirements are shown in Fig. 3.77. 

Hundreds of thousands of touring recreational vehicles, caravans and mobile homes, together with pleasure boats of all types and sizes, rely on onboard tanks for personal water supply. There is a correspondingly large number of temporary water users, such as construction sites, camps in remote areas, fishing boats, and so on, all needing a supply of water that is sanitary, and remains so for as long as needed. 

Gd + complexes with macrocyclic and acyclic polyaminocarboxylic acid ligands 78-80, 8 are typical MRI contrast agents (Caravan et al., 1999). Although they effectively encapsulate the Gd + cation and form stable complexes in water (log K = 16-25), their metal centers have free coordination sites for water molecules and their unpaired electrons reduce the relaxation times Ti and T2 (fig. 29) (Rulofif et al., 1998 Aukmst et al., 2001 Dubost et al., 1991 Kumar et al., 1994). The exchange processes of the coordinated water molecules (inner-sphere water) and hydrogen-bonded water molecules (2nd-sphere water) with bulk water molecules have a significant influence on the reduction of the relaxation times (fig. 30). Therefore, the structural and electronic factors of the Gd + complex should be controlled to attain dynamic water exchange.
