Zhuosexiang was selected from Delaware x Royal Rose in 2009, which was early maturing with strawberry flavour it was tolerant to salt, cold hardy, and resistant to disease (Yang et al, 2012) (Table 12.6).

In principle, the chemical stability of harbour sludge deposits, such as at Rotterdam and Hamburg (Fig. 10.10), is based on the low solubility of metal sulphides as well. The major difference is less mechanical stability of these structures compared with the deep anoxic marine basins, such as the Black Sea (many fjords provide similar conditions). Compaction and erosion are the problems at the man-made disposal sites. 

Deep-Sea Resources. Technology for mining the manganese nodules and sulfide deposits found on the seafloor is still in the developmental stages. The nodules are lumps about the size of hamburgers and are scattered about. Someday it may be possible to vacuum them up with suction hoses or scoop them up with a series of buckets. The sulfide deposits around the black smokers present a greater challenge. They are welded to the seafloor and would have to be broken loose.
